What are therapy sessions like?

Therapy sessions typically involve a safe and confidential environment where you are encouraged to express your thoughts and feelings. Each session is tailored to your unique needs and goals, promoting personal growth and healing.

How do you handle emergencies or crises between sessions?

​

If you need to be seen before next scheduled session you may schedule an appointment online.  You may email or call to schedule an appointment.  Anyone experiencing a life threatening crisis should call 911 or go to local emergency room immediately.  I will respond to emails and phone calls within 24 hours.

How long does therapy usually last?

The duration of therapy varies based on individual needs and goals. Sessions are generally weekly or bi-weekly and can last from a few weeks to several months, depending on the issues being addressed.

​

Coaching is helping you identify your goals and options. I will provide you with information and resources on how to obtain your goals.

What methods do you use in therapy?

I utilize evidence-based approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused and mindfulness techniques. These methods are designed to empower you, foster resilience, and equip you with tools for managing life's challenges.
